Mike Hart Joins Eastern Michigan's Coaching Staff

Today, the Detroit Free Press reported that Mike Hart, Michigan's all-time rushing leader, will be joining as an on-field coach at Eastern Michigan University. Mike Hart has routinely expressed interest in coaching after his playing days, and when he was released by the Indianapolis Colts following the NFL Lockout's end, coaching at the collegiate level seemed to be a very real option.

Ron English, head coach of Eastern Michigan University, was formerly the secondary coach and defensive coordinator at Michigan from 2004-2007. So both coaches have a clear connection not only to each other, but to Michigan.

Though Hart is not taking the most important coaching role with the Eagles, he was officially announced as a "offensive quality control assistant," this is clearly a first step in developing a player into a coach. I would assume that as Hart progresses, he will gain more control over the offense, and specifically the running back position. In fact, the Detroit News has already reported that English stated that "even though he's a quality control coach, technically, legally he's been out coaching with assistant coach Doug Downing with the running backs."

Mike Hart seems excited about the position and was quoted by the Detroit News as saying that he was "committed to Coach E" and "moving on to the next chapter of [his] life."

Though there is still much to be seen, I can't help but noticing that Mike Hart's Twitter still has a picture of the Big House in the background. I don't think it's too speculative to see Mike Hart on the sidelines for Michigan again in the future.

Jim Willey- Recruiting Analyst Everything Michigan and More

Fellow Wolverine fans!

I have been asked to lend my recruiting knowledge to the blog. I am an avid football fan and for the last seven years, a die hard recruitnik. I have contributed to most big time websites and have had my opinions and evaluations used on many occasions. I watch as much film as possible and evaluate talent as I view it.........not with a conference, hype, or UM slant. I plan to bring you the best information I can gather. I am in the process of setting up interviews with our newest commits and hope to get you the juice you are looking for!

Come BOOM at the BIG HOUSE Mr. Pipkins!!

As many of you may know or may not. I started this blog less then 2 weeks ago and to be honest it is getting very popular. Our views are increasing everyday. The Michigan fans and faithful are wonderful. There has been so much positive feedback it's amazing. New recruits and other Michigan athletes not to mention all the die hard sports fans that are starting to follow. I am a huge fan of Twitter..... Some of what I write stems from info I have obtained through my Twitter account. With that being said I will get to the point of this post. Yesterday was a very hectic day here at Everything Michigan and More. We posted Several articles and I hope you all had a chance to read them. Anyways as I was wrapping up my night. I checked up on some of my Favorites on Twitter. One being  OnDre Pipkins

@PeeWee9456

It was rumored that he may be announcing his top 5 choices. So I had to go check it out LOL. This was the tweet for those of you who have not seen it:

ondre pipkins

Ok, I have been taught not to read to much into things but the GO BLUE tells me alot. Everyone knows how special that statement is to the faithful. Ondre being friends with Lamarr Woodley knows that all to well. So I am here today to make a prediction that Michigan may have Mr. Boom coming to play at the Big House in 2012. If that was to happen it would make my day and I'm sure alot of Michigan fans. Here is a little bit about Ondre Pipkins:

Ondre Pipkins is a 6-3, 305-pound Defensive Tackle from Kansas City (Missouri) Park Hill. He is ranked No. 149 in the country by 247Sports. Pipkins is the No. 3 recruit in Missouri and is the No. 16 Defensive Tackle in the nation. Pipkins has a 247Sports rating of 94, making him a 4-star prospect.
  • Bench Max:385
  • Squat Max:520
  • Vertical:29 inches
Pimpkins school offers

Illinois

Iowa

Kansas

Kansas State

Michigan

Michigan State

Minnesota

Missouri

Northern Illinois

Ohio State

 Oklahoma

Tennessee
Four star defensive tackle Ondre Pipkins (Kansas City, MO) has named Michigan one of his favorites. This may seem strange for a Missouri prospect to name Michigan as a top but Pipkins actually grew up in Michigan and still has family in the area.
I am hoping that Ondre and Lamarr are talking on a regular basis. If so I am sure they are talking about how well this class is coming together. If everything comes together the way I hope?  We just might be lucky enough to see Mr. Pipkins dropping the Boom at the Big House In the near future!!!

#16 commit Today 2 by 2 back again!!!!

Welcome,

Erik Magnuson!!!!! Eric is the 16th Commit For Michigan...............Erik said

"I just feel comfortable with the coaches, and I know them so well. I feel the program is going in the right direction. I know some of the 2012 commits and I think they're all good players. They're bringing in a good offense, and I want to get out of California. I just feel like Michigan is the right place for me"

“Erik's a very athletic and aggressive player,” “He's a really big kid too and he hits all the benchmarks that you're looking for in a football player, especially at offensive tackle. He's all of 6-foot-5, 290 pounds, but the difference between him and other kids his size is that he can run. He's also a guy that isn't afraid of the weight room and has a little bit of an edge to him, which I think recruiters like as well.”
Erik is in ANN ARBOR today for the unveiling of the throwback jersey. Nice Timing   GO BLUE!!!!!!

ESPN Class of 2012 Team Football Recruiting Rankings OUT!!

I'll  get straight to the point Michigan is Ranked 6th overall for the 2012 recruiting ranking. I know this is early and only 13 schools have double digit verbal commits. But I thought everyone would like to know where we stood so far. ESPN called Michigan a surprise and I would have to agree. Hoke has done an excellent job thus far.You can read more at http://insider.espn.go.com/college-football/recruiting/classrankings?classyear=2012&action=upsell&appRedirect=http%3a%2f%2finsider.espn.go.com%2fcollege-football%2frecruiting%2fclassrankings%3fclassyear%3d2012 Here is an over view of the TOP TEN according to ESPN

Erik started as a sophomore and junior and earned all-league honors as a tackle  in 2009 and 2010. Erik Magnuson plans to visit on June 10th and still says Michigan is definitely on top right now, doesn't know what to expect but if things go well he says there's a chance he could commit. Could be a Huge commit for Michigan this could get the ball rolling for other prospects outside this area. Not to mention where Erik is from is great football country. So Jim Tressel guarentees a victory Nov 27th HaHa

Well I just got done reading the article http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=6626390. on ESPN college football. And I must say I think Jim Tressel has lost his mind. Did you forget you are no longer the coach of tOSu football team. Tressel states at a rally on his front doorstep that he would always be a Buckeye and that the team will beat Michigan again this November. He even has the nerve to say "
Tressel Don't forget: Nov. 26th we're going to kick their ass!

What a joke this guy is I think instead of making silly comments and ticking off our coach Brady Hoke you should be working on your Defense for your upcoming encounter with the NCAA. Don't forget Mr. Tressel it is still to be determined what players tOSU will be allowed to field on NOV 27th. MY former high school football team the Toledo Whitmer Panthers may be a better match up than what OSU can put out on the field after the NCAA gets done with you.

Tressel was forced to resign Monday for his role in covering up his knowledge of his players taking improper benefits from a Columbus tattoo-parlor owner.

Keep Cheering and singing in Columbus. When Nov 27th gets here you will be shocked at what your actions have caused. Thanks for adding extra fuel in this Rivalry I'm sure Brady will use it to his advantage.

How much will Darryl Stonum Play This Season?

I am Huge Michigan fan and I hate to report anything negative in our program so this story may be a little bias.  With everything going so good with Michigan now at days from our new coach busting his butt on the recruiting scene and the downfall of OSU. We can not forget that we are not immune to some distractions. And that is what this  Darryl Stonum story is to me just a little distraction from everything so great at Michigan. Last season as a Junior (2010) Darryl... earned his third varsity letter ... played all 13 contests and started 12 games at wide receiver ... second-leading receiver with 49 catches for 633 yards and four touchdowns ... returned 22 kickoffs for 513 yards ... caught a team-high five passes for 34 yards and had a 19-yard kick return vs. Connecticut (Sept. 4).  This week Michigan receiver Darryl Stonum pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle while impaired in Ann Arbor’s 15th District court. In exchange for the plea, the prosecutor agreed to dismiss the charge of driving with a suspended license. Darryl had a pretty good lawyer but the question is how much playing time will this talented star receiver see? Without being in his shoes its easy to criticize his actions. But I'm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt and say we all make mistakes just some of us never get caught. My hope is that this will be a learning experience for him. And that if he don't make better decisions  his dreams of ever playing in the NFL may be over. I really believe if Brady Hoke allows him back on the field You could see something very special. I feel that this situation will make him stronger and bring out the best in him. I'm leaving it up to Coach Hoke to make that decision. And lets hope Darryl goes down the right path and don't allow this situation to self destruct him! We all wish the best for all our players and I wish the best for Mr. Stonum.

MI LB Royce Jenkins-Stone a force to be "WRECK-ON" with!

On April 16th, 2011 Michigan LB Royce Jenkins-Stone committed to the University of Michigan. Stone is a highly touted prospect in the 2012 class. He is from Cass Tech highschool in Michigan. He plays as much fullback for Cass Tech as he does linebacker. Scout has him at a 4 star #7 OLB , Rivals ESPN has him 93 overall 4 star , and 24/7 has him #174 overall 4 star also. The recruiting sites are in near-complete agreement: Royce is 6-2, 215 pounds. Scout's Allen Trieu:"He just might have as much upside as any other prospect in the state. He has a great frame at 6'2, 215-lbs, and has athleticism and speed to go with it. As a junior, he really stepped it up one more notch by adding discipline and the ability to make reads and attack to his game". I feel that he is an excellent prospect. His frame and athleticism are both near-perfect, and he has a lot of upside if he lives up to his potential. He reminds me much of my Favorite NFL LB Lawerence Taylor. He brings that kind of Intensity to the game. I am very excited he decided to play for Michigan. I feel he will help our defense get back to what most people expect at Michigan. We are very lucky to have him after looking at some of the offers he had. Royce had offers from the likes of Alabama, Oklahoma, and Florida just to name a few. As a junior he Registered 90 tackles, five sacks and three interceptions. Rushed for 10 touchdowns NOT BAD stats I would say. I also follow Royce on twitter at twitter account @Mr2012RJS and i have to say he is one of my favorites that I follow. Some of my favorite tweets recently.

": i would never talk bad about TP but i will knock him out on the field whn i get my chance" right on! "

Talking about Pryor. Gotta Love it. It's in his blood to go hard after Ohio State. This is what our defense needs and what it has been missing for a while. Another tweet that made me think was

" OSUorDIE. I'd die"

Talking about going to Ohio State. That about sums everything up with this young recruit. We have alot to be happy about with Royce Stone. In the coming weeks i will be taking time to feature all of our incoming recruits it will be fun. I love Michigan football and I hope everyone that reads my blogs has as much passion as I do? Royce was just selected to the 2012 Army All American game. Congratulations Royce  Check out some of his highlights above! Go Blue Forever!!
