Michigan sports review.

There are some good things going on with Michigan Sports. The new Varsity lacrosse coach has been named. Club coach John Paul, was officially named as coach. This should help Michigan feel comfortable in switching to Division 1. he was 122 and 44 in club.

The Rowing team finished 13th in the nation, and the Mens Hockey team finished 2nd place. Wrestling had a 15th place NCAA finish, and a National Championship individual award in the 141 weight class for Kellen Russell. Kellen Russell also went 38-0 for the year. The UM Softball team lost in the NCAA Regional finals. They had a 53-6 record. Evan King made it to the round of 16 in Tennis, and King and Jason Jung lost in the round of 16 in doubles. Womans Water Polo team finished 10th in the nation. Michigan sports are still doing good in the over all NACDA's Directors Cup, they are currently 8th. Michigan has not finished outside the top 25 in the Directors cup.
